Preserve The Arbutus Corridor Green Space Petition

A new video sheds light on the current and future use of the Arbutus Corridor. Currently, CP Rail and the City of Vancouver are in negotiations on the future of the corridor.

CP rail wants to utilize the Arbutus Corridor again as a potential railway line. It plans on fencing off access to all the community gardens on July 31 unless a deal can be reached by the city, thus keeping locals out of the current green space.

Community gardeners, are requesting that Vancouver City Council move quickly to preserve the Arbutus Corridor green space and community gardens as they provide organic food and supply local soup kitchens, promote the development of community.
