Premier Christy Clark has announced that farmers’ markets across British Columbia will be able to sell and sample British Columbian-made wines, beers and spirits starting spring of 2014.

The announcement came on Wednesday at West Kelowna’s Volcanic Hills Estate Winery as Clark announced 12 liquor reforms for the province.

Not on the list was selling alcohol in grocery stores, something MLA John Yap, Parliamentary Secretary for Liquor Policy Reform, proposed in November, as Clark said she was concerned about public safety issues.
