It’s morphin’ time!

The sleepy streets of Richmond’s Steveston Village have been transformed into a warzone in the latest trailer for the rebooted Power Rangers movie.

Featuring Power Rangers, Putties, zords, and arch villain Rita Repulsa; the scene is a full blown nerdgasm for anyone who grew up watching the adventures of TV’s high-kicking heroes.

Starring Elizabeth Banks, Bryan Cranston, Dacre Montgomery, Ludi Lin, RJ Cyler, Naomi Scott, and Becky G; the trailer is just the latest chapter in the promotional push for the film, which is set to hit cinemas this March.

Production of the film took place in early 2016 at locations in and around Vancouver, including Steveston and Kelowna.

The majority of filming activity took place on Moncton Street between First and Third Avenue. Additional filming also took over Bayview Street between First and Third Avenue, and at the intersection of Moncton Street and No. 1 Road.
