The infamous Port Mann Bridge ice bombs from this past winter are costing ICBC close to $400,000.

Up to 350 vehicles were damaged during the December 2012 storm, which means the cost for each claim was about $1,100 – an amount that’s normal for windshield and glass damage, according to ICBC spokesperson Adam Grossman.

ICBC is still dealing with a number of injury claims, which could take some time to settle. Once completed, they may go to court to try to recoup some of the money. However, Grossman told News1130 that their focus is on looking after customers and settling the claims as fast as possible.
