Pony casually walks into British police station (VIDEO)

In an amusing act of defiance, a pony wandered into the front entrance of an English police station, and CCTV footage captured the alleged prancing offence.

According to Cheshire Police in Winsford, a rural community 45 minutes southwest of Manchester, a local resident pony made a surprise visit to its headquarters on Monday after escaping from a nearby field.

Security footage shows automatic doors sliding open for the determined pony. A security staffer attempted to turn away the hoofed visitor, but it nonchalantly ignored the man and proceeded into the building.

Shortly after, the pony returns to camera view at the front entrance, and a police officer steps in to guide the offender out of the building.

“We like to ensure a warm welcome to all our guests at HQ, and at neigh point did the horse pose a risk to security and appeared to be a well cared for animal,”┬ásaid Superintendent Peter Crowcroft in a statement.
