Two different pipeline rallies took place in two different parts of Metro Vancouver on Sunday.

In Burnaby, thousands rallied against the plans to expand the Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain Pipeline.

The protest was organized by Coast Salish members and drew thousands to the Burnaby Mountain area, near where much of the work is planned.

In Vancouver, a much smaller, but equally as passionate group of people rallied in support of the pipeline in downtown Vancouver at Jack Poole Plaza.

This march was organized by Resource Works and was attended by a few hundred people.
