The Pemberton Music Festival will return this summer for it’s third consecutive year of bringing some of music’s biggest names to the scenic backdrop of Pemberton, B.C.
The festival will run from Thursday, July 14 to Sunday, July 17, 2016 and include music, comedy, and camping. While the highly-anticipated line-up has not yet been announced, the first tickets for the event will go on sale at a discount on Friday, January 15 at 10 a.m. PST. The Early Bird passes will start at $270 for a four-day General Admission pass. Four-day VIP passes start at $699 and include camping or shuttle bus. For the high-rollers, the Four-day Super VIP passes start at $1,499.
Last year’s festival included performances from Kendrick Lamar, The Black Keys, J. Cole, Tiesto, Missy Elliot, Hozier, Kid Cudi and over 100 others.
“We’re very excited to be returning for a third year to the world’s most beautiful festival setting,” says A.J. Niland, Chairman and Chief Experience Officer of Huka Entertainment, the production company putting on Pemberton. “We look forward to continuing to grow Pemberton Music Festival with world class artists, passionate fans and the welcoming Village of Pemberton.”
The 2016 festival will also see a number of changes when it comes to camping. The most notable is that guests will have the choice of camping in either the energetic North Campground or the quieter South Campground.
“As camping is one of the staples of Pemberton Music Festival, we have taken advice and suggestions from our fans and incorporated them into this year’s festival,” says Niland. “We will continue to provide transportation assistance from parking lots to the campgrounds and are offering the option to camp close to a parking lot – both of which should make for an enjoyable experience for our fans.”
Also, instead of each camper purchasing an individual camping pass, camping passes will now be sold per campsite and will accommodate up to four people. Camping passes are $199 and will be available to purchase with a festival ticket. For campers who choose to drive, parking passes are $29 per car. Shuttle passes will also be available for fans staying in nearby Whistler and are $99 per person.
