Witnesses say a skateboarder was struck by a vehicle at Arbutus Street and Nanton Avenue near the Arbutus Club in Vancouver on Saturday afternoon at approximately 3 p.m. Arbutus remained open, while Nanton was closed to traffic.

The Vancouver Police Department would not confirm details, but a witness told Vancity Buzz that the victim is a 15-year-old male and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
