Don’t feel ashamed – we all hit the snooze button once in a while, or every single day.

We stretch. We yawn. We hesitate to throw our alarm clock out the window. We trudge on over to the shower but can’t help but feel that we’re bathing in the freezing Niagara Falls. It’s not pretty, and it’s not fun. The worst part? Our hunger flips on full throttle.

We need something to satisfy our growling stomachs, but there’s hope.

There are a few little things you can do before your head hits the pillow that will make getting up in the morning way easier. But what’s even better is that for once, you’ll enjoy waking up and you’ll have enough time to eat.

It’s easy.

Daily Hive teamed up with TV star Kortney Wilson from HGTV’s ‘Masters of Flip’ to collect some ‘no chef required’ recipes that make getting up in the morning fun. She prepares these overnight oats recipes for her own hungry kids, so just imagine how much they could help you. “You know exactly what they’re getting in their diets and it’s nice that you’re able to see the ingredients. I think having something that’s wholesome, nourishing, and quick is the key to success,” Wilson told Daily Hive in an interview.

The main ingredients? A mason jar, some fruit, some dairy, and some high-quality oats. The best part? These recipes make for a nourishing and mouth-watering option as part of breakfast – and making yours can take just a few minutes at night before you hit the sack.
