OneRepublic is hitting Rogers Arena in Vancouver on August 21 – with special guests Fitz and the Tantrums.
Tickets went up for sale today, but one lucky Daily Hive reader will win two for free.
OneRepublic’s stop in Vancouver will be part of their North America tour during the summer which will include eight dates in Canada. They recently released the official music video for their current single Let’s Hurt Tonight, which was shot in New York City.
In 2007, OneRepublic released their debut set called Dreaming Out Loud. It included their smash single Apologize, which shattered digital sales and airplay records worldwide, receiving a Grammy nomination. In 2009 they released their sophomore album called Waking Up, which included three singles, All the Right Moves, Secrets, and Good Life.
Fans can expect songs from several of OneRepublic’s albums, while Fitz and the Tantrums also promise to deliver some fan favourites. The LA-based band quickly grew from independent upstarts to huge hitmakers – their current album is titled Fitz and the Tantrums (Elektra). The band has performed countless times, sold out headlining shows, and is always a standout at music festivals around the world, including Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and more.
