A new veggie-friendly cafe on West 10th is gearing up to open. Nourish Vancouver, which currently has a location at 451 Granville Street, will bring its 100 per cent organic and locally-sourced menu to the Kitsilano/Point Grey area.
Scheduled to open on Tuesday, May 10 Nourish Vancouver Founder and CEO Dan Cheung says that the new locale will serve the same regular menu of organic salads, soups, and sandwiches.
Made to order, every item on the menu will be plant-based, with the option of adding ethically-sourced proteins.
“We will also add breakfast items [to the menu], such as galettes (inspired by the savoury and sweet buckwheat crepes of France), and baked goods,” says Cheung.
At 1500 square feet, the new space is much larger than the current location. Cheung remarks that the 16-seater space will also include a small kids “Farmer’s Market” play area and a cooking school.
“Just like our menu, our adult and kids cooking classes will feature a plant-based approach, using organic, local, and seasonal ingredients,” adds Cheung.
