Out with the old and in with the new, it’s time for Notch8 at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver to switch things up with a fresh new afternoon tea for patrons to enjoy.

This time the theme is festive and fitting for the time of year: Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea.

Available now through December 30 (excluding December 24 and 25), the newest service can be booked from Wednesday to Sunday at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm for $65 a head.

The magical spread features concoctions from the in-house pastry shop along with a sweet selection of savoury bits too.

Offerings include a Savory Yule Log with wild boar, ‘Presents Under the Tree’ made with smoked salmon and lobster, and ‘Boughs of Holly’ – a combo of roasted turkey, cranberry mascarpone, spiced cranberry sauce, and micro herbs.

For sweet stuff expect a Santa Hat Eton Mess, Pumpkin Spice Scones, Mini Stollens, Eggnog Éclairs, and a Chocolate Yule Log, to name a few.

To celebrate the Ballet BC’s presentation of Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s Nutcracker, Notch8 will be displaying some of the costumes from the performance until December 9 during this tea service – so be sure to get in before then and experience the new delicious seasonal extravaganza.
