Notch 8 kicks things up at lunch with new sidewalk sandwich cart

When the sun’s out, there’s nothing better than being outside at lunchtime. If your midday workday stroll happens to take you to Hornby Street past the historic Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, make plans to hit up their Notch 8 restaurant’s sidewalk sandwich cart.

Featuring a daily sandwich based on the tasty meats made on the restaurant’s rotisserie, lunch lovers will find eats like a porchetta boosted with bacon, juicy chicken with zingy slaw and hard-boiled eggs, and a succulent prime rib with horseradish aioli and big crispy onion ring.

Made fresh and wrapped for the ultimate grab and go, Notch 8’s new sidewalk cart sammies are a great way to up the quality factor on your lunch eats but still keep things casual.

The sandwich cart by Notch 8 is open Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, and is located near the driveway on the Hornby side of the hotel (900 West Georgia Street).
