Deep Cove Kayak is giving Vancouverites the opportunity to experience the city’s waters in an entirely different light this summer.

Friday Night Lights runs from June 1 to September 1, and offers guided tours of the Indian Arm, beginning at dusk each Friday.

The kayaks are well outfitted with lights, but it will be dark enough for a possible shot at seeing the bioluminescent lights of the Pacific Ocean.

The tour runs for two and a half hours, details the geography, the wildlife, and the First Nations of the area, and costs $75 per person.

A memorable evening with friends, and a perfect opportunity to take someone on an unforgettable date.

Be sure to dress warmly, as it gets cold on the water at night. Tours run from 9 to 11:30 pm every Friday, and must be booked in advance.
