Vancouver’s new Spanish tapas bar is officially open, and we can tell you the eats taste as authentic and delicious as they look. Located at 201 East 7 Avenue (On Main Street, just across the street from Rumpus Room 2.0), the new 1,539-sq-ft space seats approximately 58 people and is open daily from 4 to 11 pm.

This spot comes to us from the same team as the much-loved Blue Heron Creamery, BC’s first strictly-vegan cheese shop. Patrons will find Soil right beside the popular cheese shop at 2408 Main Street, where it serves up vegan cuisine for brunch and lunch.

Eggspectation – Richmond
Rich Won/Daily Hive
The first BC location of this spot will be located at the Accent Inn Vancouver Airport Hotel in the former 4,300-sq-ft home of IHOP in Richmond, and it will feature separate day and evening menus. This spot is now open daily at 6:30 am.

Replacing the now-shuttered Milestones Bar & Grill at 1109 Hamilton Street, the farm-to-table steakhouse is called Elisa. The new spot has been under construction for several months and just opened its doors.

The new ramen spot’s sign boasts “52 years of exquisite tradition form Fukuoka, Japan,” and they serve up features like Fukuoka Tonkotsu Ramen where you can choose the noodle, dashi, spice, and lard level in your dish. Horin also uses housemade ramen noodles and it’s open Monday to Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm.
