The new Dining Terrace at Richmond Centre is set to open tomorrow, on November 1, 2012. The 44,000 sq. ft. space, in the heart of the mall, brings a new focus on dining ambiance for mall visitors looking for a nosh, nibble, sip or bite. The renovation, which took 15 months to complete, has transformed your typical food court into a feast for the senses. It is now an open concept Dining Terrace complete with reclaimed B.C. wood tables, orange, green, charcoal and grey chairs made out of recycled PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) bottles, natural lighting, original music written exclusively for the new Dining Terrace, and Umi: Japanese Eatery + Udon Bar, the first in Western Canada.
