Natasha was born in Burnaby then later moved to Victoria at the age of six and has been there ever since. She’s a fourth year student at the University of Victoria currently finishing her BA in psychology with a business minor. She plans to move back to beautiful Vancouver by next summer and jump into the business field with her degree as she has grown a liking for marketing and commercial advertisement.
Vancity Buzz: When and why did you get into modeling?
Natasha: Since I was little I’ve always liked being in front of the camera, probably something to do with being an only child. I started doing some fashion shows and photo shoots for a popular hair salon in Victoria called The Fix, and after seeing some good shots of me I’ve grown a passion towards creating new and diverse shots. I love to challenge myself and learn new techniques from different photographers. I hope that one day I can combine my marketing career with commercial modeling.
VcB: What do you like to do on your days off?
Natasha: I love a good day at the gym and cooking a great meal at home. If I have time apart from studying, shopping until the mall closes :). I also bartend here in Victoria.
VcB: What are your future plans with respect to modeling and in general?
Natasha: My future plans in regard to modeling are to continue working with photographers in an attempt to further opportunities in commercial/fitness/bikini model industries. Aside from that, I’ll finish my degree and graduate in April, and then push forward into my career until I am working for a large company in a big city.
VcB: Your favourite thing about Vancouver is?
Natasha: My favourite thing about Vancouver is definitely the nightlife, the shopping, and the scenery. (I guess I can’t pick just one? <3 )
