Self inflicted brain freeze has never felt so altruistic. On September 15 across Canada, you can pay whatever you want for a large Slurpee.

7-Eleven’s Slurpee Name Your Price Day will benefit WE, as the chain of convenience stores donates 100% of proceeds from the sale of large Slurpees from the day to support the family of organizations “that make doing good doable, enabling people to better the world.”

From BC to Ontario, 1,797,000 students at 6,230 schools are impacted by WE Schools, and this year’s donations will go towards sending Canadian youth to WE Days (stadium-sized events featuring world-renowned speakers and award-winning performers) across the country this fall.

To date, 7-Eleven Canada has donated over $250,000 from the past three years of Slurpee Name Your Price Day, and this year the chain of convenience stores are aiming to exceed their previous single day record of $110,000 in donations.
