“Hey Google, turn the lights on.”

“Turn the bedroom lights on.”

“Change the living room strip lights to purple.”

“Change the mirror lights to red.”

“Change the balcony lights to blue.”

“Change the kitchen strip lights to purple.”

“Dim the trees 50%.”

This guy is living in the year 2100.

With just a voice command interacting with ‘Hey Google’, Colton Onushko is able to switch on multicoloured LED lights that have been installed in nearly every corner and crevice of his condominium.

The Vancouver-based photographer showed off his high-tech ‘RGB Apartment’ earlier in the year in a YouTube video, and in recent weeks his video has gained traction and gone viral.

Towards the end of the video, he demonstrated what his lights can do when he makes the command to have the lights react to music. To sum it up, his home is essentially transformed into the ultimate party house… or a nightclub.

Customizable LED lights for residential use have been around the market for quite some time, but Onushko’s extensive application with Google Home definitely takes it to an all new level.
