Aaron Hoffman, or SonReal, as he is better known, is a Vancouver-based rapper who has been around since 2006. His latest mix tape, Where’s Waldo, released February 28, 2011, is currently available for free download here . The abundant 17-track release is populated with a plethora of guest appearances including Tona, Saukrates, Rich Kidd, Eternia, Joe Scudda and Ali Milner: a finalist on CBCs competition show, Cover Me Canada.

Milner and SonReal collaborate on the penetrating introspection, “Haunted.” On the track, Hoffman contemplates his upbringing and finding unexpected success. Lyrically, Where’s Waldo paints Hoffman as an artist unafraid of the harsh lights of self-reflection. His words come through like exposed wiring—a stolen glance at the inner workings of a man on the precipice of stardom and every step it took to get there.
