Take part in a massive charity motorcycle ride on the Sea-to-Sky Highway this month

As many as 300 motorcyclists are set to take part in a mass motorcycle ride from Burnaby to Pemberton this month, and it’s all for a good cause.

Taking place on August 25 and 26, the Music Heals charity ride will see participants travel up the Sea-to-Sky to a campout at the Rise & Shine Retreat in Pemberton.

Music Heals is a charitable foundation that supports a wide range of music therapy services to communities in BC and across Canada. The foundation aims to increase access to music therapy at Indigenous agencies, women’s shelters, children’s hospitals, palliative care homes, rehabilitation centres, schools, and more.

Since 2001, the foundation has raised more than $1 million enabling the delivery of 24 music therapy programs and the production of 11 Bandwagons—innovative mobile recording studios used by therapists at care facilities including BC Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.

Tickets are still available for those interested in the event, and are available in a variety of categories:

  • VIP Yurt Experience: $500 per person based on double occupancy
  • Tent Valet Experience: $225 per person
  • Just Along for the Ride and BYO-Tent Experience: $149 per person
  • Passenger Ticket: $75 per person

And don’t worry if you’re not a rider. Get in on the action with a General Festival Admission pass for $68 and partake in all the fun.

With all of these experiences, enjoy live music performances from The Boom Booms and other artists and visit the beer garden and food trucks as you party under the stars in Pemberton Valley at the base of Mt. Currie.
