After Surrey RCMP issued a public appeal for assistance in locating a missing family of four yesterday, police said today the family has now been found.

While police were not offering any further details on the incident, where or how they were found, police confirmed the family has been located “and is safe.”

The family was last seen on Sunday, September 9 and were last spoken to on the evening of Monday, September 10 at approximately 9 pm by another family member.

Their vehicle was last seen on video surveillance leaving the parking garage of their residence in the 13700 block of 100 Avenue at 2 pm on Tuesday, September 11.

“Thank you to the public, media, and our policing and community partners for their assistance,” said police in a statement. “No further information can be provided.”
