Police ask for public's help after Burnaby family goes missing

A Burnaby family is missing and police are asking for the public’s help in finding them.

The missing family of three includes 38-year-old Ming Dong Xu, his 36-year-old wife, Yu Ling Zhang, and their four-year-old son Garrick Xu.

According to Burnaby RCMP, the family was last seen on Sunday at approximately 3 pm, in a 2006 Honda Accord similar to the vehicle pictured here:

They were reported missing by family members shortly before 4 am Monday morning, after they failed to return home.

A description of each family member has been provided by the Burnaby RCMP to aid in the search for the family,.

Ming Dong Xu

  • Asian male
  • 38 years
  • 5 ft 8 in (173 cm)
  • 176 lbs (80 kg)
  • Short black hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Last seen wearing grey jacket, blue jeans, red running shoes

Yu Ling Zhang:

  • Asian female
  • 36 years
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes

Description of Garrick Xu:

  • Asian
  • 4 years odl
  • Short black hair
  • Brown eyes
