Well Vancouver brace yourself – grab those rain boots, nylon jacket, maybe even a poncho if you’ve got it, it’s going to be one wet week!

Environment Canada is calling for showers all week, with temperatures reaching a balmy high of 12°C by Wednesday.

It’s as if Mother Nature is teasing us with the promise of spring temperatures, only to literally rain on our parade.

The week will get off to a wet start with anywhere from 10-20 mm of rain hitting the city before the skies start to clear by the evening.

Tuesday and Wednesday calls for scattered showers throughout the day, and there’s a 60% chance of rain on Thursday too.

The weekend promises more of the same with –  yes you’ve guessed it – more rain hit to hit Metro Vancouver on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

There is one ray of hope however as The Weather Network forecasts a mix of sun and clouds to end the week. So make sure you head outside and soak in the sun, because you’re going to need every bit of Vitamin D you can get after this week.
