It looks like Metro Vancouverites will see more warm temperatures and sunny conditions throughout much of the coming week, just in time for the start of June.

According to Environment Canada, temperatures today by the water at Vancouver International Airport will reach 18°C, climbing up to 22°C further inland. This increases to 20°C by the water and 26°C inland on Tuesday.

Warm and sunny weather is expected to continue into Wednesday afternoon, before a weak low pressure system moves in bringing a chance of rainfall in the evening through Thursday.

Some rain is expected on Friday morning, but it will clear by the afternoon just in time for the weekend with the arrival of a strong high pressure system.

Temperatures by the water will reach 24°C on Saturday and 25°C on Sunday.
