25 outrageous McDonald's All-Day Breakfast and regular menu mashups (PHOTOS)

It’s the dawn of a whole new day: You can now order breakfast all day at McDonald’s restaurants across Canada.

The Golden Arches has added a selection of their signature breakfast items that used to be only available before lunchtime to the menu all day: Their McMuffin sandwiches, hotcakes, and hashbrowns are yours for the ordering all day, every day.

With that big change, it now means you can get things from the breakfast menu and the regular menu at the same time: An epic first for McDonald’s. And that means you can get really, really creative with your orders.

In the spirit of creative ordering, we’ve come up with some inventions of our own–hacks or mashups, if you will–that take elements of breakfast and regular menu items and combine them to make entirely new dishes. Keep in mind, you can’t order these items; these are truly, madly, deeply DIY, and will require you do some cutting and re-engineering, and you’ll probably have some extra components on the side, like extra buns or sauces.

Don’t let those leftover pieces go to waste; eat ’em up, share with friends, or make sure they get into the hands of the homeless people. Order some extra jam packets for those extra English Muffins, at least.
