It can’t have escaped your notice that thousands of people took to the streets of Vancouver this weekend, one year after the Women’s March.
This year’s March On, Vancouver! resistance saw everyone turn out with signs and placards to protest inequality, misogyny, and prejudice.
In the crowd was Canadian photographer Emilia Orren of PhotoByEGO, who shared her photos of the massive Vancouver event with Daily Hive.
Here are 13 of Orren’s best photographs of the more memorable signs and placards from Vancouver’s second annual day of resistance.
No does not mean convince me
Without Hermione, Harry would have died
Nasty woman
Angry feminist, ignorant misogynist
Am I next?
A force to be reckoned with
Riots before diets
Make racism wrong again
Bearded feminist
We are the granddaughters
Rise up
Let’s be friends
