16-year-old girl dies in Maple Ridge car accident

A crash in a rural area of Maple Ridge has claimed the life of a 16-year-old girl.

While details are slim at this point, Ridge Meadows RCMP confirmed that the crash took place in the 13000 block of 248 Street.

Police confirm a single vehicle accident in the 13000 Block of 248 street. Tragically, a 16 year old female has died. More to follow pending next of kin notification.

Police have not released the girl’s identity or any other details surrounding what exactly happened, but noted they will be releasing more information surrounding the incident, pending next-of-kin notification.
