A 20-year old man died on Saturday night after falling 30-feet off a railing at SkyTrain’s Broadway-Commercial Station platform.

Connor Richey, of Roberts Creek, B.C., was with his girlfriend watching the Vancouver Whitecaps FC game at BC Place. At the SkyTrain station platform, he hopped on top of a railing, sat on top of it facing the platform, but then lost his balance and fell onto the sidewalk below.

He was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries, but later died on Sunday. Transit Police and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating the incident, however, foul play is not suspected.
