Abbotsford Police (APD) are investigating an armed home invasion at a licensed marijuana grow-op in the early-morning hours on Wednesday.

In a release, police said that at 4:28 am, officers responded to the incident in the 2200 block of Windsor Street.

The man told police that he and his son were sleeping when “three masked men” with firearms forced their way into the home, and tied the two of them up. The suspects then robbed them of an “undisclosed amount” of marijuana, as well as a 2011 white Ford F350, with the license plate LS 9325.

Neither the man nor his son suffered any injuries in the incident and APD’s Major Crime Unit is now leading the investigation.
