Morning rush commuters on SkyTrain’s Millennium Line should allow for extra travel time due to a medical emergency at Brentwood Town Centre Station.

The incident occurred just after 8 a.m. and has caused significant delays in morning commutes. No trains are going through Brentwood; Millennium Line trains are only running from VCC-Clark to Gilmore stations and from Columbia to Holdom stations.

Additional volumes should be expected this morning on the Expo Line. The Canada Line is not affected as it operates on a separate system.

TransLink says a bus bridge is being implemented with stops at Gilmore, Brentwood, and Holdom stations. Delays of at least 30 minutes should be expected.

Normal service is not expected to resume for several hours.

  • UPDATED at 12:21 p.m. – Normal service is resuming on the Millennium Line.
