Residents in Metro Vancouver can expect a mainly sunny weekend mixed in with a chance of rain on Saturday.

Temperatures near the water will hover just below the 20°C mark tomorrow, warming up slightly on Sunday when a mix of sun and cloud cover is in the forecast, according to Environment Canada.

However, the conditions for early next week are looking bleak, with consecutive days of cloud cover expected starting Monday through the middle of the week.

Varying conditions can be expected for other areas of the South Coast.
