The new premium designer outlet mall located near Vancouver International airport will now be built at a new location on Sea Island. The original plan was to construct on the Russ Baker Way site, however, after further review, the YVR airport authority has opted to build the high end premium mall adjacent to the Canada Line’s Templeton Station.

The decision to move the location of the mall makes the City of Richmond happy. Furthermore, it’s a lot better for commuters and shoppers to have a large scale mall built next to rapid transit.

The plan is to build a 340,000 square foot outlet mall that will have the world’s leading fashion brands all in one place.  This is the first such project in North America for McArthurGlen.

It’s also rumoured that Nordstrom Rack is looking for space there along with a myriad of mid to high end retailers.

Once complete the Canada line will serve five malls.
