Liquor Stores Should Not Close at 7pm.

I can see why this measure was taken, as Friday night was getting to the point where people were starting to act like, well young immature idiots. More often then not they end up being suburbanites causing disturbances downtown, not saying Vancouverites are perfect, this is just from my personal experience.

However, I feel that a small minority should not spoil it for the whole lot. Yes, cops should crack down on public drunkenness and drinking in public by enforcing laws. However, closing liquor stores is not the answer. Afterall, it was no different from a regular Vancouver weekend, just this time there were a few hundred thousand tourists in town and the city wants them to leave with a good image of Vancouver.
