You’ve probably heard about Light Activewear from us before, as we’ve talked about this brand a few times now. This time around we’ve partnered up with Light Activewear to bring you a contest. Two lucky readers will each be given Light Activewear’s ‘Darla’ Jacket made of recycled polyester! Read on to learn more about this sustainable product.
What’s so special about using recycled polyester is that this fabric is actually constructed by recycling used plastic containers, making them into wearable material. Because our fabric is dyed at the ‘dough’ phase by injecting ink into the raw material, this cuts out the dying process typically needed for most fabric (think a large pot of water + dye). So not only does using our recycled polyester fabric help reduce waste, but it also saves on natural resources and valuable energy.
Apart from that, they made the Darla Jacket smooth on the outside (no pilling!) and soft on the inside.
Light Activewear strives to be a company that cares: about our products, about you, and about our planet.
Two lucky readers will each be given Light Activewear’s ‘Darla’ Jacket made of recycled polyester – one from Twitter and one from Facebook! Here is how to enter:
