Last night we found out Canadian icon Leonard Cohen had passed away at age 82.

Last year, the celebrated writer, singer, and poet recorded a poignant tribute on the 100th anniversary of John McCrae’s famous poem “In Flanders Fields” for Legion Magazine.

Cohen’s voice, rich with time and wisdom, presents a haunting and beautiful version of McCrae’s words everyone should hear.
