Do I need an MBA? And if I do, which path do I take?

Deciding to get your master of business administration can be tricky – especially with all the information and advice prospective students receive.

Some say studying for the GMAT is easy – others will tell you that they had to study a little harder. You also aren’t sure if you’ll be able to work while you’re in school, and you may even feel skeptical about pursuing an MBA in the first place.

For the third year in a row, Simon Fraser University is putting on an event to help prospective business students learn more about their options to getting a graduate-level business degree.

MBA 101 takes place on March 18, and will giving everyone in attendance a chance to learn about SFU’s wide range of MBA programs. You’ll find out what it takes to complete a degree  – whether you want to do a Management of Technology MBA, your Executive MBA, a Part-time MBA, or a standard Full-time MBA.

The event will include an overview of the programs, a sample class with an SFU professor, a career development seminar, an alumni Q&A session, and networking reception.
