Acclaimed actress Kyra Sedgwick is back in Vancouver for her directorial debut.
Sedgwick produced the TV series Proof here in 2015 and has decided to film her first movie in the city.
Story of a Girl will mark the first time she has ever stepped behind the lens. The film, based on the novel by Sara Zarr, will star Sedgwick’s husband Kevin Bacon in a leading role and is slated for a 2017 debut.
