You likely noticed it’s been a little wet out there lately, but that hasn’t stopped the Vancouver Park Board from announcing they’re keeping Kits Pool open an extra week.

Vancouver’s only saltwater pool will now be open until Sunday, September 18, keeping the 7 am to 7 pm hours.

Unfortunately, the weather doesn’t seem to line up with the extended days. Environment Canada is predicting rain for Vancouver until at least September 8.

Accuweather paints a slightly less grim picture of what we can expect for the next two weeks. A mix of sun and clouds and highs of 24°C are forecasted for the week of September 11 to 18.

If you’re clinging onto the last bastions of summer (FYI, pumpkin spice latte season has already started), then maybe you should make a splash at Kits Pool.

In the rain.
