Keys Piano Night: Free, fun, and interactive live music

DH Vancouver Staff Feb 15, 2016 8:45 am

Inspired by New York City’s Marie’s Crisis, Keys Piano Night takes over XY every Wednesday night, featuring Kerry O’Donovan. This alluring weekly event was brought into existence to share the idea that “social and live singing are a beautiful and important part of the human experience.”

It was this integral notion that pushed the creators to start hosting Keys Piano Night back in October and since then, they’ve gained a loyal audience base.

The goal of this weekly event is to create a community that enjoys and celebrates social music enjoyment in a fun and relaxed setting. Feel free to roam around and mingle while listening to the vampy vocals and piano stylings that accompany this entertaining evening.

Everyone is encouraged to get up and sing, provided they bring sheet music along. They try to accommodate all requests and you can also expect some exhilarating sing-alongs.

It’s definitely not the best part of the show, but the fact that there’s no cover is definitely a perk. You can attend and enjoy this amazing show for absolutely free which is music to both your wallet and ears.

If you’re looking for a night of live, interactive music and have a guilty pleasure for showtunes, head over to Keys Piano Night on Wednesday nights to let out your inner songbird!
