Kelly Olynyk hosts basketball clinic in Richmond this weekend

If you ever wanted to learn from an NBA star, this weekend is your chance.

Kelly Olynyk, fresh off his new four-year, $50 million contract with the Miami Heat, is in town for the Vancouver Basketball Skills Clinic to be held at the Richmond Oval.

The 7-foot centre from Kamloops will be joined by San Antonio Spurs guard Danny Green, as they put players through the paces Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm.

Limited spaces remain if you’d like to participate. The camp is open to children ages 8-17.

Apart from drills designed to improve your basketball skills, the weekend includes a camp photo with Olynyk and Green, as well as an autographed item from the Canadian big man.
