Just Eat's food truck is giving out free samples for 6 days

Food trucks make some pretty great grub, but so seldom is food as good as when it’s totally free. So for six days, the online ordering site Just Eat is hitting the streets with a food truck to give out freebies in different Vancouver locations.

The goal of the website’s “Taste Something Different” campaign is to inspire people to try a meal at one of the many restaurants whose menus are available through Just Eat’s service.

For each of six select days, the Just Eat food truck will feature free samples from different new restaurants.

“What better way to showcase some of Vancouver’s hidden gems than by giving away free samples!” said Just Eat’s director of marketing, Luke Sheehan, via e-mail.

Here’s where and when you’ll find the Just Eat-branded food truck handing out free bites:

Friday, Oct 23
▪ Around Howe Street (approx. 3:30pm – 7:30pm)

Saturday, Oct 24
▪ Around Gastown (approx. 12pm – 4pm)
