Atlantic recording artist Jason Mraz is set for a whirlwind of activity celebrating the release of his hugely anticipated new album. “YES!” arrives tomorrow in stores and at all online retailers.
“YES” marks what is perhaps the most unexpected and accomplished collection of the San Diego-based troubadour’s already extraordinary career. Highlighted by the first single, “Love Someone,” the album – which finds Mraz teaming up with his longtime friends, Raining Jane — is streaming now in its entirety via iHeartRadio.
The multi-Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter has also announced the North American leg of his upcoming “YES!” world tour, slated to visit an array venues around the world through 2014 and beyond.
Mraz and Raining Jane will also make two high profile TV appearances this week, including NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, July 17 and NBC’s TODAY “Toyota Concert Series” – broadcast live from New York’s Rockefeller Center – on Friday, July 18.
Mraz made pop history with his record-breaking classic single, “I’m Yours,” while also earning platinum and multi-platinum certifications in more than 20 countries.
Moreover, the San Diego-based troubadour has proven a truly diverse creative presence. A dedicated surfer, farmer/gardener, filmmaker, and photographer, Mraz is first and foremost a committed global citizen. His impassioned social activism and philanthropic efforts span wide-ranging environmental advocacy and ardent support for LGBT equality. Though it all, Jason Mraz continually confirms and celebrates music’s myriad forms and miraculous power, inspiring and delighting his countless fans around the world he calls home.
