The transition to fall is almost upon us.

And while you get ready to change your wardrobe, now’s the perfect time to give your home a revamp ahead of the long winter evenings. And that’s because chances are you’ll be spending a lot of them curled up on your sofa under a super soft blanket. You’ll be able to get some amazing design inspiration later this month at the highly anticipated 13th annual Interior Design Show Vancouver.

It’s returning to the Vancouver Convention Centre from September 28 to October 1, and it will be the biggest and most inspiring iteration yet.

There will be artists, makers, design-centric brands, and more creatives coming together in Vancouver to showcase their current works, concepts, and products. Plus, you’ll also have the opportunity to hear from some of the design world’s most notable designers A definite highlight of the fair is designer Camille Walala, who will be speaking and showcasing her work at IDS Vancouver. Camille has had her distinctive asymmetric pattern work adorn buildings of London, Sydney, New York, and beyond. See Camille’s designs while sipping on a cocktail or two at the Walaland Central Bar, incorporating ceramic tiles by ANN SACKS alongside a 60-ft mural hand painted by Camille herself.

On Sunday, Kate Arends from the lifestyle and design blog Wit & Delight takes the stage to talk about her work as blogger, product developer, branding consultant and designer. Following Kate is a panel of Vancouver’s top interior designers and influencers (Fiona Forbes, Gillian Segal, Gaile Guevara and Karin Bohn) discussing West Coast luxury.

If dynamic features, speakers and exhibits have gotten you in the mood to take home a piece of great design, be sure to swing by the vendors at The District, a popular cash and carry feature at the show. Exhibitors such as East Van Light, Vancouver Candle Company, Urban Walls and Power of My People will showcase their latest product launches.

Don’t forget to visit the HAY Pop Up Shop and bring home a trendy piece from the iconic Danish brand. Other can’t miss features include Tokyo Exchange, INTRO/LA, and the return of fair-favourite Clay and Glaze. Tickets are on sale now on the IDS Vancouver site.

As a Daily Hive reader, you can snap up two single day tickets for the price of one using the code IDSDAILYHIVE at checkout (offer is valid until this Saturday, September 17).
