Created and taught by experienced dancer, personal trainer and group fitness instructor Suzy Kaitman, Ballet Fit was designed to be a unique workout both challenging and fun. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to learn classical dance outside of a threatening and competitive environment, both male and female. Men of Vancouver, if you can do yoga, you can test your strength through Ballet Fit too!
This Ballet inspired workout uses the principles of classical dance to tone and sculpt your entire body to the inspiring beats of electronica music. The workout includes elements of barre work, cardio, core and flexibility with 3 levels for you to choose from:
Ballet Fit (Level 1)
An open level class designed to teach you the foundations of ballet while giving you a great workout. Perfect for beginners as well as those who have experience with dance before and want to re-learn the steps.
Ballet Fit (Level 2)
An intermediate level class where you will master new techniques and follow choreography.
Ballet Fit (Advanced)
The most advanced level of Ballet Fit that requires a very strong background in training.
Suzy Kaitman also offers traditional adult ballet classes as well as personal training programs. Through high or low impact options and other alternatives, you can meet your own customized fitness goals. With her passion for dance, fitness and music combined with her bubbly energy and positive attitude, Suzy is committed to helping her clients achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life.
