There's only one week left to visit the Illumination Summer Night Market
If you haven’t been to the Illumination Summer Night Market in Richmond then you need to do it soon.
The popular multicultural night market has been taking place every weekend this summer and it’s coming to an end on Sunday, September 10. That means your days left to hit up this must-visit market are numbered.
It’s the perfect place to spend time and it opens at 7 pm, running right through to midnight. Plus, you can enjoy a whole plethora of things while you’re there.
For starters, the market is home to Canada’s massive light show featuring a 60-foot Eiffel Tower and 12 sets of colourful light displays with thousands of glimmering lights that range from 0.5 m to 2.0 metres tall. So this means your Instagram opportunities are endless.
The market even has a quirky teddy bear theme with more than 20 custom teddy bears standing tall throughout the grounds.
Then there are the vendors. With more than 200 merchandise stalls you’ll have no issues snagging some bargains like colourful USB humidifiers, sunglasses, selfie lights, clothing, and much more.
But of course, one of the much-loved features of the Illumination Summer Night Market is the food. You can walk though the food section taking in the exotic aromas of Asian cuisine coming from the 60 food booths.
You’re going to want to sample some of the insanely delicious foods on offer like spicy crawfish, hurricane fries, traditional Chinese pancakes, and sweet treats like bubble tea, alcool mocktails, watermelon drinks… and the list goes on.
Plus there will be some live entertainment on the main stage, zorb games, and much more happening at the same time.
Now all you have to do is choose which night you’re going to go and prepare to have an unforgettable experience.
