Toys are making a big return to Hudson’s Bay stores across the country.

The national department store chain announced this week that over 60 of its stores will boast dedicated toy departments. Toy sections range in size from 500-square-foot outposts to 5,000-square-foot flagships, which are located at the Hudson’s Bay stores in downtown Toronto, downtown Vancouver, and downtown Montreal.

The Vancouver store, amongst the largest of the toy departments, is located on the lower level of the building – on the same level as SkyTrain. This will be the largest and only toy store in downtown Vancouver; the nearest major toy store to the city centre is the Toys “R” Us on West Broadway.

Additionally, there are also a curated assortment of pre-school and construction toys, dolls, plush, toys, arts and crafts, games action figures and toy vehicles.
