It’s time to make the most of what’s left of summer, and while you’re at it, check off the city’s best spots on your summer bucket list.
Last month Daily Hive readers were introduced to GEO Vancouver’s brand new app, the only way to partake in the city’s real-life adventure scavenger hunt. This month the app has something very special for dedicated followers: a chance to win cash prizes for exploring some of the city’s best outdoor offerings.
In July, the city-wide scavenger hunt is back with brand new themes to turn any Vancouverite into a full-blown mission seeker. With weekly contests running throughout the month, readers will have a chance to win up to $1,500 in cash and prizes — enough to start planning your next adventure in fall.
And with a new month and a new app, it only makes sense to have new summer themes.
GEO’s July-themed hunts include hiking the Grouse Grind, paddle boarding at English Bay and even taking in a play at Bard on the Beach.
Other themes include Caribbean Days, Commercial Drive Car Free Day and the Deighton Cup (make sure you have your bow ties and fascinators ready for the last one).
And to set you off in the right mood, GEO is also giving away a $500 Air Canada gift card to launch their brand new app-powered scavenger hunt.
