Tucked away in the historic heart of Chinatown, you really have to search for The Emerald — and that’s one of the best things about this spot. After you walk up a dimly-lit stairway you’ll enter the cozy space that’s a mix of old-school Vegas glamour and chic urban design. Order some moreish canapes or a pasta dish and delight in the fact that you’ve found your new favourite place. FYI, it’s open until 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays.

As soon as you order some food and settle in, you’ll realize why this is such an incredibly unique place with its modern gothic-inspired interior and low lighting.
