The NHL Heritage Classic is just around the corner and here is a rendering of what BC Place Stadium will look like when the Vancouver Canucks take on the Ottawa Senators.

Just imagine a packed BC Place with 55,000 fans cheering on the Canucks and the Senators (plenty of Senators fans have pledged to make the trip to Vancouver for the game) for the March 2 game. It’ll be like the Olympics, but without the ugly old mushroom dome.

This will be the first NHL game held in a stadium with a retractable reoof and will be an ‘outdoor’ experience you won’t want to miss.
